Half Day – Hands on – Small Groups

Enjoy the sport of canyoning and learn how it applies directly to creating a culture of problem solving in manufacturing.

PREREQUISITES:

• Must be some sort of operations manager with a direct team (Better yet, book the course with your team or other managers at your site!)

• A reasonable level of fitness

• No prior experience needed!

ITINERARY DESCRIPTION:

We will start the day by driving a few minutes to the trail head. It is a short 15 minute hike to the waterfall, where we will suite up. Before beginning the adventure, we will discuss objectives for the activity.

Shortly after we will begin the strenuous, but extremely short approach hike that takes you to the top of the double falls. We will rig the rappels and descend. The first drop is about 33ft followed shortly by a beautiful 83ft repel down a chute then a waterfall.

This course will be completed MULTIPLE TIMES throughout the day with training and group conversations between as we discuss practical applications.

Afterwards we will return and clean up our gear. Finally we’ll close-out with goal setting and applications material will be distributed to help you be successful implementing these management techniques on your return home.
